September 19, 2005.
I have been busy with my beading projects and of course looking at the new beads that have just arrived. So many nice new colors and a few are old favorites!

We have been fortunate enough to have been contacted by the Matsuno bead company from Japan. What an exciting time!

I have been working on a few new pieces of jewelry, to replace the jewelry that has been sold. I have noticed that after explaining the bead work to potential buyers, they realize just what a piece of artwork the jewelry is. That is great for business and it is nice to see my bead art being worn around someone's neck knowing that it is an original design.

As I find more time I will post more, but for now it is bead, bead, and bead more!

We have been selling beads on the internet for almost a year now. We have met a lot of great people online and while traveling around to find unique and unusal beads. We have proudly opened up our online store just a few months ago.

We are looking forward to posting basic beading patterns on our website, we will not charge for the patterns. If you are looking for a specific pattern or are just learning how to bead, come and look at our site. We have our beads priced lower than many other bead seller's online.

Heirloom Beads has a terrific array of color in our size 11/0 seed beads made by the Czech Republic, Matsuno, Miyuki, and Toho of Japan. Our size 8/0 beads are actually Antique~Vintage French Beads. These were never in circulation and when we acquired them it took a little research to find out more about the beads. These beads were last manufactured in the late 1970's. The French shut down their bead houses and sold their bead making recipes to the Japanese and the Czech's. The French beads are the exact ones that they used to make flowers with to place on loved ones graves.

We also have size 6/0 Pony beads, for the people who like a bigger bead. I use them in alot of my trim work and for weaving them into my jewelry.

Please check our website, you may be surprised at the awesome deals you can find!

I saw this bracelet in a magazine and I had to make it. It is up for auction on my Overstock Auctions. It is made of Matsuno Bronze and Matsuno Bone White Seed Beads size 11/0. The bracelet is secured around your wrist with an Antique Czech glass button.
